It’s important to know the itinerary in advance to ensure a smooth Hajj experience. However, the itinerary cannot be customized. The Ministry of Religious Affairs in Bangladesh decides when Hajj tickets are released, so the exact travel date is uncertain. The agency may arrange a visit to Madinah first if you arrive 15 to 20 days before the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah.

But you can perform Umrah first if you arrive in Makkah 2 to 3 days before starting Hajj. This is a Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). After that, you can perform Hajj, depending on the agency’s arrangements. Below is a general outline of the itinerary:

Day - 1 | Dhaka - Jeddah - Makkah

Start your Hajj Journey from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport

• Enter the airport by showing your passport.
• Once checking is complete, place your luggage on the belt.
• Receive your boarding pass from the airline's designated booth.
• Complete the immigration

Day 8: (8th Dhul Hijjah) Journey to Mina (Day of Tarwiyah)

• Enter Ihram again with the intention of Hajj.
• Travel to Mina (5 km away from Makkah).

• Perform prayers and prepare spiritually for the days of Hajj.
• Spend your day in prayer, reciting the Quran, and making supplications (du'a).
